TPAFBO Notice (07/29/2008):
Owing to further delays in the introduction of the Families First Program
and uncertainties with respect thereto, the TPAFBO IS-08 Rate Table
effective 12 July 2008 has been revised by reducing all rates shown
therein to those presently shown in the TPAFBO IS-08 Rate Table
effective 15 April 2008 - 11 July 2008 and with an expiration date
of 14 Oct 2008. Future TPAFBO rates for IW-08 to be effective
15 Oct 2008 - 14 April 2009 have now been published at the levels
currently set forth in the former TPAFBO IW-08 Rate Table effective
12 July 2008.
TAAFLO & TPAFBO Notice (06/18/2008):
With effect as from 2 July 2008, the Fuel Adjustment Factor ("FAF")
applicable to shipments received on or after that date shall be
$625/20' and $1250/40' - 45'.
TAAFLO Notice (04/15/2008):
TAAFLO IS-08 AQ rates, effective 15 April - 14 Oct 08 are set forth on
the Current TAAFLO Rate Table which follows. As from 15 Oct 08,
TAAFLO will no longer publish tariff rates of any description for
traffic to/from the European Economic Area or tariff rules applicable
to such traffic.
Note: (1) This web site is open to the
public at large at no cost and neither log-ons nor passwords are required for entry. It
is divided into 3 sections. The 1st section contains notices; the 2nd, summary
tables showing currently effective and prospective TAAFLO and TPAFBO AQ rates; and
the 3rd, individual Member Line address and contact information including web-site
addresses which may be automatically clicked into. TAAFLO and TPAFBO are
Conferences respectively operating pursuant to FMC Agreement Nos. 01714 and 8493
in accordance with the U.S. Shipping Act of 1984, as amended. TAAFLO Members
operate U.S. flag vessels in ocean common service between ports in the U.S.
and ports in Europe and elsewhere. TPAFBO Members operate U.S. flag vessels in
ocean common service between ports in the U.S. and ports in the Far East and
elsewhere. Both TAAFLO and TPAFBO Members provide transportation by sea for
general commercial cargo as well as cargo reserved by law for such transport to
vessels of U.S. flag registry including household goods and personal effects of
U.S. military personnel and other U.S. governmental employees ("Military HHGs").
TAAFLO and TPAFBO are exclusively concerned with Military HHGs traffic.
